Re:Baltica founder Inga Spriņģe and executive director Sanita Jemberga have presented their work in the annual conference of the Swedish investigative journalists “Gräv 2015”.

In the event, which was attended by over 650 investigative journalists in Jonkoping on March 20 – 21, Inga introduced the non-profit model on which Re:Baltica is based and spoke about the methods centre has used in the popular investigations, such as “Hot Bills” on various heating costs in the Latvia’s cities, “School Money” about the real costs families incur despite the formally state-funded education, “Another side of Latvia’s success story” about the impact of lauded austerity program and “Small wages” which deal with slave like conditions in the several big enterprises.

Sanita presented the conclusions about the work of Russia’s propaganda in the Western European countries which steams for a year-long research for upcoming documentary ‘Dangerous Liaisons”. It is co-produced by Re:Baltica and the production companies from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
